Atlantis Tanques Portuarios S.A (ATP)
Operates shore tank terminal for storage, marketing, and shipping of bulk chemicals, oils, and diesel, at the free Commerce & Industry Free Zone - (ZOLIC), Port of Santo Tomás de Castilla, Guatemala. Located on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
The terminal has 9 tanks varying in size from 8,000 to 10,700 bbls, (336,000 – 450,000 gallons) with a total capacity of 87,000 bbls. All tanks have been built to API (American Petroleum Institute) construction code, and the terminal is approved by the Guatemalan Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM). In addition to permit extended by ZOLIC for the logistics and storage of chemicals, oils, and diesel fuel.
The terminal is located 1,200 meters (4,000 feet) from the Pier which is easily accessible for sea-going tankers. ATP terminal is connected to the pier by two 6" and one 10" pipe lines, with unloading/loading facility at Pier #6.
The Port of Santo Tomas has good road access to all parts of Guatemala and Honduras.
ATP has now embarked upon the preparations for further future expansion.
